Technology Based Sales Executive Positon ~ Full Time
DBS is a 23-year old Amarillo based company seeking qualified & enthusiastic individuals to apply for a full time sales position.
The position is based in the identity industry where we work with leading manufactures to offer equipment and software to allow for the identity of people, products, and applications.
We are a very technology driven company and require a sales force that desires to be involved with these new product offerings.
This position will allow you to utilize your sales skills while working with the industry leaders in security, identification and asset management.
We want out of the box thinkers that are willing to be creative in their efforts.
TYPES OF PRODUCTS:
Digital Photo ID card systems, credit card personalization equipment, Office automation equipment, network/password sign-on software, voters registration electronic hardware, inventory tracking software and hardware, biometric capture and authentication hardware, pre-printed plastic cards, specialized office equipment, access control related hardware, NEW Bank account security software.
REQUIREMENTS
~ 1 to 3 years successful business-to-business outside sales experience, preferably in the office automation industry or technology driven market.
~ Some College or military training strongly preferred.
~ Strong competitive sales spirit and excellent phone skills required.
~ Healthcare/Medical Market or Bank sales/experience an asset.
~ Basic knowledge of computer networking is required.
~ Must demonstrate a comfort with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
~ Technical expertise of the equipment being sold is required - training to be provided.
~ HTML and web page building and maintaining a PLUS.
~ Must be able to locate, prospect, and qualify business opportunities.
~ Professional presentation and communication skills required.
~ Must approach all business situations with integrity and professionalism as well as possess authentic commitment to do what is required on a daily basis and be successful with minimal direct supervision.
~ Must possess the skills required to work with a team during special projects.
~ Proficiency in communicating customer needs and expectations from project initiation to production and to final product delivery.
~ Capable of dealing with a fast-paced, technology dependant product portfolio.
~ Must have the experience and desire to utilize the technical service department when needed both in pre-sales and post-sales situations.
STATUS Full-time
BENEFITS Based on skills - retirement and insurance options available.
PAY: Base pay plus commission. To be determined based on experience.
TRAVEL must be willing to travel within territory, some overnight stays required, possess a reliable car, insurance and a valid drivers license required.
