· VB.NET technology

We are looking for several creative, motivated, and experienced application developers to join our team located in Charleston, SC.
As an important member of the Technology Consulting Practice, you will be responsible for:
· Designing and developing custom solutions for Blackbaud clients
· Implementing custom solutions in-house and at client sites
· Investigating new technologies, markets, and revenue opportunities

Required Experience:
Candidates who wished to be considered for this position must possess a background in software application development, the ability to work directly with external clients, and the following skill set:
· Solid object oriented analysis and design experience using VB.Net, ASP.Net or C#
· 1-2 years of programming experience in the following: VB 6.0, COM, DCOM, MS SQL Server, .Net
· In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Platforms
· Experience in multiple programming disciplines & methodologies (SDLC, XP, Waterfall, Iterative)
· Experience designing & developing enterprise level applications
· Experience customizing high performance, scalable, and extensible software applications
· Experience with use cases, functional specifications, and project management methodologies
· Superior oral and written communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal and client management skills, including the ability to deliver effective client presentations
· Excellent consultative & technical problem solving skills (programming or consulting experience in a Professional Services organization a plus but not required)
· Bachelors degree in Computer Science (advanced degree a plus)
· Experience with business intelligence and complex database programming is a strong plus
· Experience integrating with other systems (e.g. SAP, Great Plains, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards) a plus
· Experience in the nonprofit sector a plus
· Experience utilizing advanced SQL is a plus
· Occasional travel may be required
