Hello,
If I were to tell you that my house just burned down with all of my worldly belongings, or that I am from an establishment whose quest is to ask for donations to a worthy cause, I would most likely get your attention long enough to have you read this, and maybe even get you to give something toward this, or you’d all be out baking cakes and running raffles on my account, or you would probably be spreading the word around at church to see if someone could help me. This, however, is not my request. What I am simply asking you to do is to see if you would not have work for me to do in your company, or if you know someone who does. In other words, I am not looking for a handout; I am looking for work, and, in return, receiving something for it.

Now, you’ll ask yourself, but what can she do? Well, I am American born, but have lived abroad in France for 30 years. My French is probably as good as a native-born citizen, and I have documents to attest to that. This would make me eligible to teach French to children, (the way I did my own), who are bilingual) or to tutor those who have difficulty in this language. I have worked, and have an extensive background in administrative duties as an Executive Assistant. I also started and worked in my own company in France for several years, which could make me eligible for a management position. I obtained a Paralegal degree, which I think is additional knowledge that could help me in any position that I undertake, and I do think that my literary skills are not run-of-the-mill. I can generate turnover in a company, after having been an Export Manager for 7 ½ years. So, maybe now, you have an idea of how I can help you out too.

What I am indeed looking for is a chance to start out at a salary that is commensurate with the work I will have to perform. This can be full-time or part-time.

So, before tossing this in the trash pail, I ask you once again to reflect and spend only a couple of minutes to look over my resume, and see if somehow you, or someone else you know could use these qualifications, to which I could give you further details on during an interview. You see, I am not looking for something for nothing. I do think there is a place out there for me where I can be of use, and where the common goal would be to grow together.
